About the Chef
Chef-owner Karl Engelmann has over 20 years of experience creating dishes for a variety of establishments.  His food has a wholesome artistic approach that stems from his vast experience in the industry which includes organic baking, farm to table, vegan, vegetarian, fusion, fine dining, and large buffets.  

He served as executive chef of Brasstown Valley Resort and The Ridges Resort and Marina.  Karl has been a featured chef in WNC Magazine and has won a variety of local awards for his creative and innovative food.

As owner and chef of Epic Catering he can incorporate his knowledge, skill and love of food to create the perfect individualized menu.
